Your account has a recovery phrase — a few words only you see, when you create it. Keep it somewhere safe, off the phone. With it you recover your money on any device. Without it, nobody recovers it — not even us. That is the other side of owning the key, and we would rather say it to your face than bury it in the footer.
No. DePix is worth one real and stays worth one real. It is not for making or losing money — it is for paying and getting paid. If you want to buy bitcoin later you can, in the same app, but they are separate things.

Before that it is different: while your Pix is becoming DePix the operation crosses our rail and can take time for review, as any incoming money does. Large deposits, or deposits into a very new account, can be held, and accounts suspected of fraud can be suspended. We would rather tell you here than have you find out in the moment.
